Taipei-Taiwanese taekwondo athlete Chuang Chia-chia was defeated by South Korean Kim Jandi in the Women's -67kg final at the Summer Universiade in Taipei on Wednesday.
Chuang lost 7-14 in the final, winning the silver medal.
In the men's -80kg taekowndo event, which also concluded on Wednesday, Taiwanese Liu Wei-ting won the bronze medal after losing in the semi-final against Azerbaijian's Milad Beigi Harchegani 4-12.
Liu defeated fighters from the United Arab Emirates, Iran and France earlier in the day, thereby landing himself in third place along with Norwegian Richard Andre K Ordemann.
