22 couples to tie the knot in group wedding in Changhua

Twenty-two couples will get married in a group ceremony in November at Changhua Station on the high-speed rail system, the local government announced Monday.

The wedding on Nov. 12 will be witnessed by Changhua Magistrate Wei Ming-ku (???), the county government said.

Wei said the group wedding was planned by the county government as part of an effort to promote the city and its local industries.

The 22 couples will be presented with gifts of locally made products such as glass artifacts, flowers, wine, rice and various sweets, Wei said.

He invited the public to attend the group wedding and join him in wishing the new couples happiness in the future.
