An electronic library of national standards will be launched online on Jan. 1, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection under the Ministry of Economic Affairs said on Thursday.
Visitors will be able to search and read every page of more than 14,000 standards in 102 categories online, but will have to pay to download the standards.
The homepage of the library, or a digital database if preferred, can be accessed through the bureau’s website.
The library’s homepage is in Chinese with no English language version currently available, though there are English translations of some standards.
