Chunghwa Post Co. will launch four new philatelic products Friday to mark the 2016 World Stamp Championship Exhibition in Taipei (PHILATAIPEI 2016), the company announced Thursday.
Among them will be the “Lithographic Coiling Dragon Stamp Fine Silver Ingot Collection,” which is designed based on the pattern of the first stamp issued by the state postal service in 1897, during the times of China’s last imperial dynasty.
The two-piece set contains one ingot in pure silver and another one in pure silver with partial gold plating. A limited 2,000 sets, priced at NT$7,000 per set, will be available.
Also going on sale Friday will be “Herb Plants Mug with Cover,” “Herb Plants Soup Cup with Cover” and “Herb Plants Tea Set,” which are priced at NT$250, NT$300 and NT$699, respectively.
The four items will be sold at the exhibition and through Chunghwa Post Co.’s online store at stamp.post.gov.tw. Customers can also order the products via any post office.
The exhibition will take place Oct. 21-26 at Exhibition Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center.
