Taiwan won both the men and women’s pool titles at the 49th Annual All Japan Championship 2016 on Wednesday.

Ko Pin-yi (柯秉逸) beat Jeffrey De Luna of the Philippines 11:3 in the final of the tournament, to win the title for the third time at the annual event.

Ko, who will take home a prize of US$17,780, was the men’s champion in 2011 and 2013.

Meanwhile, Chen Ho-yun (陳禾耘) came from behind to defeat Chihiro Kawahara of Japan 9:8, taking the women’s title for the first time and earning the same prize money as Ko.
