Water supply to 280,000 New Taipei households to be suspended

The water supply to several districts in New Taipei will be suspended for one day starting early Saturday, the Taiwan Water Corp. said Friday.

It is estimated that around 280,000 households will be affected by the suspension, the company said.

The affected areas include Yingge, Sanxia, Shulin, Taishan and Wugu districts, some wards in Xinzhuang, Tucheng and Banqiao districts, as well as the New Taipei Industrial Park.

The company said that the due to inspection work of its pumping stations, the water supply to these areas will be suspended from 4 a.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday.
