15-Year-Old Chen Pin-an Wins Bronze at Asia Cup Archery in Singapore

Singapore: Taiwanese archer Chen Pin-an, 15, won a bronze medal in the men's recurve event at the second leg of the 2025 Archery Asia Cup in Singapore on Friday.

According to Focus Taiwan, Chen secured Taiwan's second medal at the tournament by defeating Japan's Yui Urata 6-2 in the bronze medal match, following a third-place finish by the men's recurve team on Wednesday.

Friday's result may come as a surprise given Chen's earlier struggles in the qualification round. The teenager scored 648 points in qualifications, placing 22nd out of 54 competitors and ranking last among the four Taiwanese archers in the event. Urata, by contrast, ranked eighth with 662 points.
