Yi Tan Khun-Ton Or Pen Nueng' took 40 victims to file a complaint against The Icon Group Company. The victims explained the reason for the police searching their homes. At 10:40 a.m. today at the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD), Mr. Thanakun Chit-Issara, President of the Santi Prachadham Club, and Ms. Chalida or Ton-Or Pen-Nung, took 40 victims to file a complaint against The Icon Group. Mr. Thanakun revealed that he has now accumulated more than 1,000 victims, with 40 of them coming to file a complaint today. The main damages come from being tricked into investing. Some victims are housewives who earn 300 baht a day and use 200,000 baht in savings that they had saved for 19 years to invest, but they were unable to make any money, so they thought of committing suicide. However, for the sake of their children, they had to see a doctor to take anti-anxiety medication, mood stabilizers, and sleeping pills every day. Mr. Natthanan (pseudonym), 43 years old, one of the victims, said that in the past, he had fought this matter all along, even going as far as The Icon Company to go live. Later, he went to file a complaint at Bang Khen Police Station, but because the evidence was not clear, the police told him to go find more information. He would only ask to file a daily record, but the police would not do it. He lost 1 million baht in investment. He knows more details than others, but cannot reveal this here. Regarding the police searching my house in Chiang Rai Province, as was posted on social media, the police claimed that they were informed that I had weapons at home because I had previously posted about a verbal conflict with The Icon Company. However, after that, I went to meet the police to negotiate. The officers warned me about posting video clips or threatening messages and advised me to exercise my rights to sue the company. In addition, a picture of my face was found on the entrance and exit of The Icon Group Company, causing me to be seen as a criminal by default. While Ton Aor, who is one, concluded by saying that he would like to ask the police stations in the provinces to accept the reports of the victims because many victims have contacted him saying that the police station did not accept the reports and told the victims to come and report to the Crime Suppression Division themselves. Currently, there are 300 victims registered in the Pen-Nung Foundation system, with damages estimated at 150 million baht. Source: Thai News Agency
