Chachoengsao, A 31-year-old man driving a pickup truck had a flat tire and stopped to change the tire on Burapha Withi Expressway. He was hit by a six-wheeled truck and died in front of his family. Officers tried to perform CPR on Mr. Thirayut, 31, after he was hit by a six-wheeled truck while he was changing a tire on the Burapha Withi Expressway, inbound to Bangkok, Village 6, Bang Wua Subdistrict, Bang Pakong District, Chachoengsao Province, causing a fractured left skull. His wife and family members sat crying beside him, but they were unable to save his life. Mr. Methinee, 32, the driver of the other party, was waiting for the police and stated that he was driving into Bangkok. When he arrived at the scene of the accident, he did not see Mr. Thirayut who was sitting in the left lane changing a tire and hit Mr. Thirayut until he was thrown. Meanwhile, the mother of the deceased said that she was going to visit relatives in Nakhon Pathom. She got on the expressway and less than 5 minutes later, the righ t rear tire burst. She controlled the car to park on the side of the road without calling the expressway officer. Then her son got out to change the tire himself.
