Sukhothai Hospital in chaos! Water is about to flood in. They are rushing to place big bags to reinforce the front of the hospital and provide services to patients. This morning (October 7), water levels that had receded from two districts flowed into the Thung Thale Luang flood retention area in Mueang Sukhothai District until it was full and overflowed into the Mae Lam Phan canal in Ban Kluai Subdistrict, Mueang Sukhothai District, causing the water level to overflow the Mae Lam Phan canal into a branch canal and flood the western bank of Sukhothai City. Meanwhile, water began to overflow into the area in front of Sukhothai Hospital and into the patient building of Sukhothai Hospital. Many agencies are rushing to place big bags to block the water in front of the hospital. The water level is now about 50-60 cm above the road surface. Small vehicles cannot enter or exit the hospital. The hospital has prepared vehicles to pick up and drop off patients. Source: Thai News Agency
