The Economic Reporters Association, together with Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, held the closing ceremony of the Advanced Economic Reporters Capacity Development Project (AERP) 2024, titled 'Unlocking Financial Potential for Digital Wealth.' Mr. Chairit Anuchitvorawong, Senior Executive Vice President, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, said that the media has a role in presenting news fairly and correctly, which is considered the 4th foundation. It is necessary to enhance knowledge and understanding in the context of a society that is changing rapidly. At present, fraudsters are increasingly digital. Creating awareness and presenting correct news is therefore important. Ms. Duangporn Udomtip, President of the Economic Reporters Association, said that the Economic Reporters Association has received support from Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in organizing the P.S.S. project for 18 consecutiv e years to provide members of the economic reporters with knowledge and understanding of the concept of sustainable development in the context of organizational and business adjustments in the financial and investment industries of Thailand, the region, and the world, as well as the ability to apply the knowledge gained to their daily lives, including their duties as mass media professionals, in order to create correct understanding among the public and enable them to select appropriate financial products/services, which will be one of the approaches to promoting financial sustainability going forward Source: Thai News Agency
