The elderly are the target of call center gangs and online scammers. In the past 2 years, more than 4,000 cases have been reported to the Chiang Mai City Police Station alone, with thousands of grandparents falling victim. Many have lost their life savings, with the most common loss being over 20 million baht. Therefore, there is an urgent need to educate the elderly in various communities to be aware of the tricks of telephone thieves and for family members to help take care of them so that they do not become more victims .
