SEOUL, Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul met with the chair of the German parliament's defense committee Wednesday to discuss the regional security and bilateral ties, his ministry said. During their talks in Seoul, Cho and Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann shared the view that security in the Indo-Pacific region and Europe are closely connected. Cho also stressed that the growing military cooperation between North Korea and Russia poses a threat not only on the Korean Peninsula but in Europe and across the world. He urged Germany's close collaboration in "sending a strong message" to Pyongyang and in stopping its military cooperation with Moscow. Source: Yonhap News Agency
