Gang of young men who brandished samurai swords and slashed villagers, seriously injuring them

Gang of young men arrested, riding motorcycles, brandishing samurai swords, chasing and slashing villagers, throwing ping pong bombs, claiming to have mistaken the person, police pressed multiple charges, ordered the confiscation of the vehicles and prosecuted the parents. A surveillance camera at a company in Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province, recorded an incident where a group of teenagers riding several motorcycles, approximately 10 people, chased and attacked two teenagers riding motorcycles on the superhighway, forcing them to drive away into a parking lot of a company in Chomphu Subdistrict, Saraphi District. However, the gang continued to attack them, using a samurai sword to cut the 20-year-old man's head, breaking the samurai sword, and using a machete to cut the leg of a 14-year-old boy, seriously injuring him. They also threw several ping-pong bombs, making loud noises, before riding away in separate motorcycles. The incident occurred on the night of August 11. The Saraphi Police Station rec ently arrested 8 people along with evidence of the knife used in the crime, the clothes they were wearing, and 2 motorcycles. Most of the people were aged 16-21. Mr. Watcharapong or Bas, aged 21, is the gang leader and 2 people are still at large. They claimed to have mistaken the person for someone else.
