Good things in the rainy season: going into the community forest to collect mushrooms to sell and generate income

Nakhon Ratchasima, During the rainy season, villagers in Khong Buri District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, go out to collect mushrooms in the community forest, which they can eat and sell, generating hundreds of baht per day. Villagers of Khum Charoen, Tambon Khong Buri Tai, Amphoe Khong Buri, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, have been collecting mushrooms in the community forest to use as food and to sell to generate income after heavy rains. The hot and humid weather has helped mushrooms to grow well. They mostly got red and pink fermented betel mushrooms and white fermented betel mushrooms. They are now producing a lot of fermented betel mushrooms. As for the fermented betel mushrooms and charcoal mushrooms, they have not produced a lot yet. Mushrooms that are found, put in bags and sold as mixed mushrooms, price per bag 50 baht, or if found in large quantities, sold per kilogram. If it is a blooming mushroom, 100-200 baht per kilogram, depending on the type.
