KG Mobility Corp., a South Korean carmaker, said Friday it has established a sales subsidiary in Germany to strengthen its operations in the European market. The subsidiary, opened in Frankfurt, marks the company's second direct overseas sales unit, following its one established in Australia, KG Mobility said. KG Mobility plans to leverage the new unit to first focus on the German market with tailored local marketing and sales strategies, enhanced customer service and close collaborations with local dealers. According to the company, KG Mobility Chairman Kwak Jae-sun hosted a conference with some 170 local dealers in Frankfurt on Thursday on the occasion of the launch of the subsidiary. At the conference, Kwak shared the company's export strategy, medium- to long-term product plans, brand and marketing strategies, and sales network plans for the German market, KG Mobility said.
