NACC expedites fact-finding investigation into school bus fire

NACC visits Singburi Transport to investigate facts of the fire accident involving a sightseeing bus, focusing on the installation of gas tanks and the work of Singburi Transport officials to see if they complied with regulations. Mr. Suksan Prasara-ae, Director of the Investigation and Special Affairs Office, and his team were assigned by the NACC board to act as the chairman of the NACC board, together with the director of the NACC office in Singburi province, along with officials from relevant agencies, to conduct a preliminary inspection of the school bus at Wat Khao Phraya Sangkharam School in Uthai Thani Province to obtain the facts of the fire accident regarding the installation of a CNG gas tank and whether the officials’ performance in considering the approval of the permit was in accordance with the regulations and laws of the Department of Land Transport. The NACC has requested registration documents, vehicle inspections, and other related documents for buses in the Shinbut Tour group, as well a s inspecting other buses in the group to collect evidence for further investigation.
