NT offers customers a plan to continue using the service after the license expires.

NT presents a plan to the NBTC to prevent SIM card blackouts, preparing to transfer existing customers to 700 MHz, confident in providing continuous service. Mr. Seksan Mitkasem, Senior Executive Vice President, Marketing and Product Department, National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT), confirmed that customers on the original network (850 MHz) totaling 1.6 million numbers can continue to use the service until the license expires. A protection plan has been prepared for the maximum benefit of customers, in accordance with the NBTC announcement, to prevent any impact on users. NT holds the 850 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2300 MHz waves, which will expire in August 2025. NT has a plan to transfer customers on the original network (850 MHz) totaling 1.6 million numbers, divided into 2 types of transfers. 1. For users whose SIM cards support automatic transfer (OTA), the system will automatically transfer customers to the 700 MHz network. Users can continue using the same package. 2. For users whose SIM cards do not support automatic transfer (non OTA), NT will promote to customers to change new SIM cards for free at all NT customer service centers. Users can continue using the same package. For the original group of customers who use only 3G or devices that do not support 700 MHz waves, such as GPS Tracking devices or various Meter devices, NT will negotiate further with partners to allow continuous roaming use until the customers change to devices that support 700 MHz waves.
