Oil stains were found all over Na Jomtien Beach, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, almost a kilometer long. Tourists rushed to cancel their accommodations and called on relevant agencies to help the villagers urgently. Villagers found oil stains on Tawanron Beach, Na Chom Thian Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. An inspection found black oil stains that had formed into clumps along the beach, stretching for almost a kilometer. Locals and fishermen in the area said that 2-3 days ago, there was a lot of oil floating in the sea and oil stains were found stuck to boats all over, making it impossible for fishermen to fish. Until today, the sea water washed the oil up to the beach in a long line, but no local agency has come to help the locals and nearby business operators have been affected because almost all of the guests have canceled their bookings. Therefore, they are asking the relevant agencies to help the locals urgently. Source: Thai News Agency
