Over 20 Taiwanese Tech Firms Set to Showcase Innovation at Nvidia GTC 2025

San Jose: Over 20 Taiwanese tech firms are gearing up to participate in a major global artificial intelligence conference in California this week. Hosted by Nvidia Corp., a leading American technology company known for its graphics processing units, the Nvidia GTC 2025 is set to open on Monday in San Jose.

According to Focus Taiwan, the five-day event will see more than 20 Taiwanese tech companies participating as either exhibitors or sponsors. Notable companies such as Asus, Hon Hai, Quanta Cloud Technology, and Delta are among the 16 second-level Diamond Sponsors of the event. This marks the first time that Hon Hai, globally recognized as Foxconn, is participating at this sponsorship level. The company plans to showcase advancements in areas like Frontier Artificial Intelligence and healthcare robotics, alongside its GB200 server system developed with Nvidia.

Other Taiwanese companies will join the conference as Gold or Silver Sponsors, with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. participating as the sole A La Carte exhibitor, highlighting its semiconductor chip supply to Nvidia. Several firms also attended a pre-GTC event organized by American venture capital firm Plug and Play Tech Center. Led by the Taiwan Next Foundation, these companies, including MetAI, showcased their contributions to Nvidia's inception program.

In a nod to Nvidia's Taiwan-born founder and CEO Jensen Huang, the GTC will debut an event called the GTC Night Market, featuring 20 local food vendors and artisans from San Jose. Huang, an enthusiast of Taiwan night markets, is scheduled to deliver a keynote address on Tuesday, continuing a tradition of engaging presentations.

The Nvidia GTC is a platform for developers, engineers, and IT professionals to explore artificial intelligence, computer graphics, and machine learning. This year's conference, held from March 17-21 at the San Jose Convention Center, features 1,000 sessions, over 400 exhibits, and numerous networking opportunities for business leaders.
