‘Somdej Phra Sangkharat’ attended the chanting ceremony for ‘Nang Chotchoi Thavisin’

Wat Thepsirin, The Prime Minister and his wife awaited the arrival of the "Somdej Phra Sangkharat" to join the chanting ceremony for "Nang Chotchoi Thavisin". Prime Minister Settha Thavisin, along with his wife Phakpilai Thavisin and their families, sons and daughters, welcomed His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch, Somdet Phra Sangharaja Sakol Maha Sanghaparinayok, to join the chanting ceremony for Mrs. Chodchoi Thavisin, Mr. Settha's mother, at Sala Kawi Niramit, Wat Thepsirin, Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, Bangkok. Somdet Phra Maha Ratchamangkhun Muni (Somdet Thongchai), a member of the Supreme Sangha Council, the head of the Central Sangha, the assistant abbot of Wat Traimit Witthayaram, Mr. Plakorn Suwannarat, Privy Councilor, ministers, and MPs also joined the chanting ceremony. On August 6, 2024, General Surayud Chulanont, President of the Privy Council, will represent His Majesty in the royal cremation ceremony of Mrs. Chodchoi Taveesin. At 10:00 a.m., there will be a merit-making ceremony and offeri ng of lunch. Then at 1:30 p.m., there will be a chanting ceremony. At 2:30 p.m., there will be a coffin moving ceremony.
