Taipei: Under the influence of a warm southwesterly wind system, Taiwan is forecasted to continue experiencing summer-like weather into next week, as reported by the Central Weather Administration (CWA) on Saturday. According to Focus Taiwan, mostly sunny skies are expected to prevail, with daytime temperature highs ranging between 31-32 degrees Celsius across most of Taiwan. In the eastern region of Hualien County and the southeastern area of Taitung County, temperatures could rise even further, reaching 34-35 degrees Celsius. Independent meteorologist Wu Der-rong has projected that temperatures on Saturday could soar to as high as 36 degrees in southern Taiwan. He advised individuals planning outdoor activities to take necessary precautions against sun exposure, as ultraviolet (UV) levels are anticipated to reach dangerous levels. Nighttime temperatures are predicted to drop to between 21-23 degrees Celsius across Taiwan, according to the CWA. The stable weather pattern is expected to continue into the u pcoming week, although increased moisture in northern Taiwan will slightly lower daytime temperatures to around 29 degrees Celsius by Thursday. The CWA noted that temperature highs in central and southern Taiwan are likely to remain relatively consistent during this period.
