The initial turnover for the day amounted to NT$6.82 billion, which is approximately US$220.64 million. According to Focus Taiwan, the market showed an upward trend at the start of trading, indicating a positive response from investors. The early gains reflect market sentiment and trading activities as the new week commenced.
