Taipei:The Taiwan Stock Exchange's main index started the day lower, dropping 23.31 points to 49,783.06 on Thursday.
According to Focus Taiwan, the turnover for the session amounted to NT$11.33 billion, equivalent to approximately US$355.58 million.
