Aug 27 - The Marine Department continuously uses flat-bottomed boats to help flood victims and monitors the flood situation in the North 24 hours a day. Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, and Mrs. Manoporn Charoensri, Deputy Minister of Transport, have assigned the Marine Department to assist flood victims in the northern region and monitor the situation 24 hours a day. Mr. Kritphet Chaichuai, Director-General of the Marine Department, has ordered all Marine Department units in flood-affected areas to integrate and prepare personnel, jet skis, flat-bottomed boats, royal boats, and various equipment to assist flood victims to alleviate the people's suffering to the fullest extent.
