Chiang Mai, Tragic: 35-year-old man, stressed by problems, kills youngest child and wife before ending his own life. His eldest daughter, aged 11, witnessed the incident and ran away from home to save her life. Police from Omkoi Police Station, Chiang Mai Province, went to investigate the scene of a murder of a family of three in a village deep in the forest in Na Kian Subdistrict. The scene of the crime was a single-story wooden house. The body of Mr. Su-Uay, age 35, was found hanging from the beam of the house. In addition, the bodies of Mr. Su-Uay's wife and 9-year-old daughter were found lying dead in the living room of the house with stab wounds. There was also one injured person, the eldest daughter, age 11, who had a knife wound. Initial investigation revealed that there had been a fight in the house before the incident. Mr. Su-uai is a farmer and recently stressed about money and many problems. He used a knife to stab his youngest daughter to death before turning to stab his wife.
