Taipei:The U.S. dollar appreciated against the Taiwan dollar on Thursday, closing at NT$31.875 with an increase of NT$0.080.
According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a turnover totaling US$2.503 billion.
The greenback opened at NT$31.820 and fluctuated between NT$31.780 and NT$31.940 throughout the day.
