Taipei:The U.S. dollar closed higher against the Taiwan dollar on the Taipei foreign exchange market, increasing by NT$0.008 to end at NT$31.716 on Wednesday.
According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a turnover of US$1.479 billion. The greenback opened at NT$31.690 and fluctuated between NT$31.655 and NT$31.728 before closing.
