The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces closed the first batch of the National Defense Course for Future Executives, revealing that he wanted the course to make the public understand the military, hoping that in the future, representatives of the People's Party will be invited to join the course. General Songwit Noonpakdee, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, presided over the awarding of certificates to 150 graduates of the first batch of the National Defense Course for Future Executives for the academic year 2024, consisting of 50 military officers, 22 civil servants, 10 political officers, 18 independent organizations, and 50 general public. However, it was reported that in the afternoon, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, will travel to take a photo with her classmates who have completed the training course. After presenting certificates to those who completed the course, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces played a clip while presenting a b udget request to the Budget Committee for the implementation of the course project. He stated that it was difficult in the beginning, but now the first batch of the course has passed. The purpose of having such a course is because he saw a gap in Thai society. Although there is already a National Defence College course, there is a large age gap, so he wanted to open an opportunity for the new generation who still have many years of service to have the opportunity to build relationships and understand different perspectives. The main point is that he wants people outside the military to participate in designing the army in the future so that the army will be an army that truly belongs to the people. It was also reported that the Supreme Commander had mentioned that if there was an opportunity, he would like to invite representatives of the People's Party to study in the National Defense Course for Future Executives.
