Global companies are confident that Paethongtarn's government is preparing to open Government House to welcome 6 tourism giants, believing that cooperation will result in the benefit of the country. Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, advisor to the Prime Minister, revealed that tomorrow (Monday, October 7, 2024), Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, has a schedule to meet and discuss with senior executives from 6 leading global tourism companies, including Grab, the leader of Super App in Southeast Asia; IHG and Marriott, leading hotel chains; Agoda, Expedia, trip.com, a website for booking accommodation and travel; and Thai Airways. It is believed that this meeting will be the first step to develop cooperation with many private sectors and also an opportunity to support the implementation of Thailand's tourism policies, which will benefit entrepreneurs and tourism businessmen, and will also see results in facilitating both Thai and foreign tourists. Mr. Jirayu continued that the Prime Minister asked all ec onomic ministries to urgently stimulate and restore the economy in all aspects so that the economy will be lively again, leading to the development of lifestyles, creating jobs, and increasing income for Thai people.
