The Prime Minister attended the closing ceremony of the first batch of the Mini NDC course.

The Prime Minister joined the closing ceremony of the Mini NCO Course, Class 1, and took a lively group photo with his classmates. The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces hopes that the course will help society understand the military and plans to invite the People's Party to join the course. General Songwit Noonpakdee, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces (C-in-C) presided over the presentation of certificates and the Patamaratthaphirak badges to graduates of the National Defense Course for Future Executives (NDDC) Class 1, 2024, in which a total of 150 students participated. Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, also attended the event because she is a student in that class. The atmosphere at the event was lively. Students took turns going up on stage to take pictures with Ms. Paethongtarn, and some students asked to take selfies as souvenirs. After giving certificates to those who completed the course, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces played a clip while presenting a budget request to proceed with the course project to the Budget Committee, stating that it was difficult in the past when it started, but now the first batch of the course has passed. The purpose of having such a course is because he saw a gap in Thai society. Although there is already a National Defence College course, there is a large age gap, so he wanted to open an opportunity for the new generation who still have many years of service to have the opportunity to build relationships and understand different perspectives. The main point is that he wants people outside the military to participate in designing the army in the future so that the army will be an army that truly belongs to the people. It was also reported that the Supreme Commander had mentioned that if there was an opportunity, he would like to invite representatives of the People's Party to study in the National Defense Course for Future Executives.
