Prime Minister prepares to travel to Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai to monitor relief and rehabilitation efforts for flood victims. Reporters reported from Government House that Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, has a schedule to visit Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai provinces between 27-28 September. Tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM, the Prime Minister will preside over the opening ceremony of “30 baht treatment everywhere for healthy Thai people in Bangkok” at the multipurpose area on the 2nd floor of the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, Building B, Chaeng Watthana Road. Then at 13.45 hrs., the Prime Minister and his entourage, including Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, departed from Don Mueang Airport 2, Wing 6 (B.6) to Mae Fah Luang Airport, Chiang Rai Province. When the Prime Minister arrives at Mae Fah Luang Airport, Chiang Rai Province, he will chair the meeting to integrate the rehabilitation plan and provide assistance to those affected by the flood in Chiang Rai Province and areas affected by the flood in the northern provinces. Before 4:30 p.m., the Prime Minister and his entourage will travel to the area to monitor the rehabilitation of areas damaged by the flood situation and provide encouragement to victims in Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province. The Prime Minister will stay overnight in Chiang Rai Province. Then on Saturday 28 September at 08.30 hrs., the Prime Minister and his entourage will travel to Mae Sai District Office, Wiang Pang Kham Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, where the Prime Minister will go to the area to assess the situation and restore the affected areas after the flooding incident before the Prime Minister and his entourage will board a military truck to enter the affected areas at Ban Koh Sai, Ban Mai Lung Khan, Ban Mueang Daeng, Mae Sai Distric t and travel to Wat Phromwihan, Mae Sai District to meet and give encouragement and provide financial assistance to the people affected by the flood. In the afternoon, the Prime Minister and his entourage traveled to Chiang Mai Province to monitor the flood situation in the community area of ??Muang Chiang Mai District, at the P 1 water level station at the foot of Nawarat Bridge, and met and gave encouragement to officials, volunteers and workers at the Kawila District Office and handed out relief bags.
