The Prime Minister gave encouragement to the people and provided financial assistance to flood victims in Chiang Rai Province before traveling to Chiang Mai Province. At 10.55 am, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, and her entourage traveled to Wat Phrommawihan, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province. On this occasion, the Prime Minister paid homage to Phra Khru Wibunthamwimol, the abbot of Wat Phrommawihan, and then gave financial assistance to the flood victims as follows: Providing financial assistance to 4 deceased persons, 29,700 baht per person, and to 1 family head, 59,400 baht. Provided financial assistance to flood victims in Mae Sai District, 50 families with damaged houses, totaling 2,475,000 baht. Providing financial assistance to flood victims in accordance with the Cabinet resolution on September 17, 2024, Mae Sai District, 222 households, totaling 1,110,000 baht. Providing cleaning kits for disaster victims Donated 102 large packages of adult and child diapers from the Prime Min ister's personal funds. The Prime Minister also gave diapers to children and bedridden patients and gave encouragement to the victims before traveling to Chiang Mai Province to monitor the flood situation and meet and encourage the officers working.
