Doosan Group has sought to merge its construction equipment supplier, Doosan Bobcat Inc., with its robot maker unit, Doosan Robotics Inc., according to the units Monday. Board meetings of both Doosan Robotics and Doosan Enerbility Co., a parent company of Doosan Bobcat, approved the merger plan, according to their regulatory filings. The merger ratio between Doosan Robotics and a new unit of Doosan Enerbility was set at 1 to 0.043. In August, Doosan dropped a plan to merge Doosan Bobcat with Doosan Robotics due to lack of support from their shareholders. Source: Yonhap News Agency
