The Stock Exchange of Thailand is open to receiving opinions on improving the criteria to support trading of Vayuphak Mutual Fund units until 13 Sept. The Stock Exchange of Thailand announced that according to the government's policy to raise funds for Vayuphak Mutual Fund 1 (VAYU1) to be a mechanism to promote savings and investment for the public, as well as to support the development of the country's money and capital markets, it is expected that Type A investment units will be offered to general investors and listed with the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Therefore, in order to improve the relevant criteria to support the registration and trading of mutual funds to be more appropriate and beneficial to investors, the Stock Exchange of Thailand is open to receiving opinions from relevant parties as follows: 1) Improve the disclosure period of mutual funds information so that investors have sufficient information to make investment decisions. 1.1 Improve the disclosure of net asset value per unit (NAV) thr ough the Stock Exchange of Thailand's system to be consistent with the criteria of the SEC announcement, which is every business day. 1.2 Improve the disclosure of any rights granting date (Book Closing Date or Record Date) to unitholders of mutual funds no less than 5 business days before the rights granting date. 2) Improve the short selling price criteria for those who wish to act as liquidity providers (Market Maker) of VAYU1 and the price range (Tick Size) for trading in VAYU1 to support the Market Maker's role in promoting liquidity for the benefit of investors. 2.1 Exempt the short selling price criteria to allow VAYU1 Market Makers to short sell VAYU1 investment units without limitations on the short selling price. 2.2 Improve the price range (Tick Size) for offering to buy or sell VAYU1 investment units to be a ladder like stocks. This time, the purpose of the hearing is to obtain information that is useful for the consideration of improving the criteria.
